Dallas Goes to the Dentist!

Dallas had a few cavities! She went to the dentist for a checkup. She bit the dentist's hand. Ouch! Today she went back to get her teeth filled! Everything went great. Watching her after they gave her an injection to be sure she was settled down before they gave her the anesthesia gave me the willies! She reminded me of O'Ley when they put him down! Her eyes were open and glazed. But she won't remember anything. They gave her an amnesia medicine. She won't even remember going to the dentist today! No more candy or goodies but more toothpaste!

Dallas is growing up!

Dallas decided that she doesn't want to sit in her highchair any more. So she has her own chair now and loves it. She can get off and on by herself and sit at the table with the rest of us. So cute. She's really starting to talk now. And she can start her movies by herself. She wants to help me with everything so mopping, dusting and sweeping takes a little longer. She's learning her ABC's and can identify a lot of letters. She's still a little stinker! And she's an artist with her own eisel.

Did what she was told!

Jamie and Dallas went outside in the back yard. Jamie told Dallas that she couldn't play in her pool....she obeyed! I put some buckets outside to catch the rain yesterday. Before Jamie knew what happened, Dallas ran to the bucket and climbed in. Well, it wasn't the pool!!

Sometimes the internet drives me crazy

I had my blog all written and then I got kicked off the internet. It does that once in awhile and it makes me sooooo mad. Anyway, I'm starting again.
My Michigan friends finally have nice weather. It was cold and wet there for awhile. And we were in the 90s. But, I'm not complaining.
My flowers are looking good. I have a lot of new flowers and I'm half way done with the border.
We got bricks to put around our trees in the front yard. Denny even carried some of the bricks from the truck. He starts cardio-therapy next week so maybe that will make him feel better. He feels bad because he can't go to Michigan this summer. Not only will he miss because of his therapy but it would cost us an arm and a leg for gas to get there. And Michigan's gas is higher than ours. Michigan's prices are the highest in the states, after California. I feel bad for people that have to drive a long way to work and only make minimum or close to it!
Denny and Sue brought a trampoline over for Dallas. As soon as they set in down, she ran to it and started to jump on it! I'm sure she's going to be a gymnist or anything that involves jumping. She watched divers on the swim meets on TV today and went wild when they were jumping on the board and then diving off!
She's starting to say a lot of words now. Denny's going to have to watch what he says now!!

Dallas at the park

Jamie takes Dallas to one of the big parks near us. There are three parks that she can take her to play. There were a lot of little kids there yesterday. We'll have to be sure Dallas has a ball with her next time because she wanted to take the other kids balls. Here are some pictures of her at the park.

Jamie and I went to Chuck E Cheese today. Dallas had a good time but when she saw Chuck E Cheese walk into the play area, she went crazy. she followed him all over the place after he gave her the high five. She started to show off for him by dancing

Jamie was getting her nails done today so I took Dallas to Chuck E Cheese. She had fun running around but didn't really want to ride on the rides. A little boy put a coin into the sketch machine and left it. We were standing by it watching. He said that he wanted Dallas to have her picture done so I put her in the booth. Jamie came in so we had another sketch done. They're so cute. Except Jamie was trying to get her face out of the picture and she didn't get all the way out. She looks pretty freaky. Chuck E Cheese came out of the back room and Dallas fell in love with him. She followed him all over the place. It was so cute.

Everyone asks me if I have pictures of Dallas but I never carry them around with me. I put these on my blog so anyone can look at them. I have a lot of pictures but I like these pictures from Christmas time, 2007. The angel picture is from Halloween.

Dallas Skye

Dallas is so cute. She just helped me empty the dishwasher. First I take out all of the glassware and the knives. Then she hands me everything one at a time. The silverware included. She's watching the Wiggles now. That's the only time she isn't in here climbing on me! In one of the pictures, the one that she looks so guilty is when I caught her taking the decorations off from the Christmas tree! Our tree was beautiful from the top to three quarters down. After that there was nothing but lights on the tree, no tinsel and no balls. Maybe she'll do better next year.
