Black Woodpecker (Dryocopus Martius)

I got a card from a Postcarder today. It has a picture of a Black Woodpecker on it. I didn't realize that there are birds in other countries (other than tropical birds) that we don't have here in the United States. This card came from Finland. The bird is found in all of Europe.

They are beautiful birds, I like humming birds, I always wanted one as a kid because they are so interestingly small. Im glad I never was able to catch one though. I think I want to get a bird feeder for my tree now.
