Vampires, Would They Bite Me?

Since mosquitoes don't bite me, am I exempt from getting bit by a vampire? We discussed that on Facebook. Now today we discussed if vampires are vegetarians. It's a good debate. I figured that they are not vegetarians but it doesn't matter because they drink the blood of humans and not animals. So, maybe they're vegetarians. Who can say anything on the subject of vampires.
